After Closure By Police, Exit Reopens On Westbound LI Expressway
An exit ramp on the Long Island Expressway in Plainview was briefly closed due to police activity.
PLAINVIEW, NY — An exit ramp on the Long Island Expressway in Plainview was briefly closed due to police activity, but has since reopened.
The ramp for exit 48 for Round Swamp Road on the western lanes of the LIE was closed around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Drivers were asked to use an alternate route.
