Fire Damages 2 Plainview Shops During Holiday Weekend: Police
The Saturday evening fire started at Central Park Nail Spa on Central Park Road.

PLAINVIEW, NY — A fire during the holiday weekend caused damage to a Plainview shop, police said.
The fire started inside Central Park Nail Spa, located in a small strip mall on Central Park Road, police said.
Several fire departments, led by the Plainview Fire Department, responded to extinguish the flames on Saturday evening, police said.

The fire spread to the neighboring Francesco’s Pizzeria and Restaurant, Newsday reported.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad also responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
