Former Assemblyman Mike LiPetri is also expected to have primary challengers in June.

FARMINGDALE, NY — The Nassau GOP has its candidate to challenge Rep. Tom Suozzi in November.

The party leaders have selected Michael LiPetri, a former state assemblyman from Farmingdale, to run in the general election from the 3rd Congressional District, Patch has learned.

Suozzi won a special election last month to complete the term of expelled congressman George Santos.
