New Plainview T.J.Maxx Opens This Weekend

PLAINVIEW, NY — Shoppers in the mood for a little bit of everything will be happy to know that a new T.J.Maxx is opening in Plainview this weekend.

The off-price retailers is opening its new store in Woodbury Plaza, located at 401 S. Oyster Bay Road in Plainview, on Oct. 30. T.J.Maxx is replacing a Bed Bath & Beyond store that closed earlier this year.

“Our newest store in Plainview will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices T.J.Maxx is known for. Our buyers create a unique mix that offers value for styles in every department, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood,” said Tim Miner, president of T.J.Maxx. “With a constant flow of new arrivals, we offer an exciting one-stop-shop that makes it easy for consumers to stay on-trend with styles they love and save big every single day.”

The new Plainview store opens at 8 a.m. on Oct. 30, but normal hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.

To celebrate the opening of the Plainview Store, T.J.Maxx will donate $10,000 to a local charity.
