Looking to make a difference in our community? Consider joining the POBCOC board of directors. Five seats will be on this year’s election ballot at the May membership meeting. If you are interested in being nominated for the POB COC board (or would like to nominate a qualified candidate), please consider the following criteria: To be eligible to run, you must have been a Chamber member in good standing for more than one year.  You must be willing to attend both monthly general membership meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and board meetings on the 1st Wednesday of the month, and you will be expected to assume committee chair positions.

The Board currently consists of 15 members, each with a three-year term.  The election will take place at the May 16th meeting at the Mid-Island Y JCC, and each nominee will have an opportunity to address the membership. Officers of the Chamber will be elected at the next ensuing Board meeting.
