Plainview Old Bethpage Chamber Of Commerce: Have Your Say – Consider Joining
The election will take place at the May 18th meeting at the Mid-Island Y JCC, & each nominee will have an opportunity to address membership.

Looking to make a difference in our community? Consider joining the POBCOC board of directors. Five seats will be on this year’s election ballot at the May membership meeting. If you are interested in being nominated for the POB COC board (or would like to nominate a qualified candidate), please consider the following criteria: To be eligible to run, you must have been a Chamber member in good standing for more than one year. You must be willing to attend both monthly general membership meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and board meetings on the 1st Wednesday of the month, and you will be expected to assume committee chair positions.

The Board currently consists of 15 members, each with a three-year term. The election will take place at the May 18th meeting at the Mid-Island Y JCC, and each nominee will have an opportunity to address the membership. Officers of the Chamber will be elected at the next ensuing Board meeting.

2022 NOMINATION APPLICATION
To be considered by the Plainview-Old Bethpage Board of Directors Nominating Committee, please respond to the five questions below. Please attach your responses to the email (gary@zapkenandloeb.com)
Also, please submit a head shot (jpeg under 1MB) with this application. The photograph and your responses will be posted on the Chamber’s website prior to the election.
- Please provide a short biography of yourself, including your educational and business background; accomplishments; other community, civic, professional, and social organizations to which you belong; and any other information you may want to add, including about your family. Please be sure to include your current business/company affiliation.
