Plainview-Old Bethpage School 2024-2025 Budget To Be Decided Tuesday

Residents will have from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. to vote on the $190 million budget.

PLAINVIEW, NY — Residents will go to the polls on Tuesday to decide on the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District 2024-25 budget

The budget represents a tax levy increase of 3.39 percent. The total expenditures are $190 million, up $7 million from the previous year. Teaching K-12 is allocated $52 million, while special education would receive $23 million.

The budget includes $2 million transfer to capital for several projects, including ADA compliance upgrades and playground enhancements.

Voting takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. a the Jamaica Avenue School and the administration offices at Mattlin Middle School.
