Plainview Man Shot To Death In SUV
Nassau police released the name of a 27-year-old man shot and killed while sitting in an SUV.
PLAINVIEW, NY — Police released the name of a 27-year-old man who was shot and killed while sitting in a sport utility vehicle Tuesday evening. Justin Gottlieb of Plainview was shot outside a Plainview home around 5:30 p.m. on Margaret Drive East, police said. He later died at a hospital.
Police said it appeared to be a targeted attack and that they're still searching for the shooter. Investigators believe a light-colored vehicle may be involved in the shooting and asked that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.

Gottlieb went to Plainview- Old Bethpage/JFK High School and later graduated from SUNY Farmingdale in 2014, according to his Facebook page. Relatives and friends wrote in social media posts that he was engaged to be married and would soon celebrate his daughter turning a year old.
