Plainview's SpringFest Postponed Due To Anticipated Bad Weather
The festival takes place May 19 on the grounds of the Mid-lsland Y JCC.

PLAINVIEW, NY — If you're planning to check out SpringFest in Plainview, you'll have to wait a few more weeks. With the forecast for thunderstorms on Sunday, the event has been rescheduled for May 19.
The day-long festival takes place on the grounds of Mid-Island Y JCC.
"A new promoter, LI Fairs, is bringing more excitement to our event than ever before. We’re going to have a great day with amazing attractions for all ages," SpringFest chairman David Weinstein said.

Those attractions include a giant funzone for kids with a train ride, a mechanical bull, a Ninja course and a rock wall. You'll also find plenty of vendors selling their wares and a "foodie fest" with oodles of options, the Plainview-Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce said.
