POBJFK High School Teacher Recognized As Educator Of Distinction, Nominated By Student

PLAINVIEW, NY — Dr. Brian Carter, Director of Bands at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, has been recognized by the National Society of High School Scholars after being nominated by one of his students.

Carter was selected as a Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction by the NSHSS and was nominated by senior Ray Tao.

This award recognizes educators worldwide for their contributions to student growth and community development.

Student members of NSHSS are invited to nominate an educator who has made a difference to their academic career.
