POBJFKHS Student-Researchers Earn Recognitions
Five Students Receive Awards at Long Island Science and Engineering Fair for Outstanding Research

Students from Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School showcased their scientific talents at the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair (LISEF), earning top awards across multiple categories.
Chloe Lee secured 1st Place in Behavioral and Social Science, while Parshwa Shah earned 2nd Place in Biomedical Engineering. Abigail Rajan achieved 3rd place in Biomedical and Health Sciences. Additionally, Garrett Greenberg received an Honorable Mention in Behavioral and Social Sciences, and Sophie Hu was recognized with an Honorable Mention in Environmental Engineering.
"Our student-researchers dedicated an incredible amount of time and effort to their projects, and these recognitions are well deserved," said Principal Dr. Heather Dvorak. "Their achievements at LISEF reflect their dedication, curiosity, and commitment to innovation."
