Road Work To Close LIE In Plainview Overnight
Drivers should avoid the area, as multiple lanes will be closed.
PLAINVIEW, NY — Roadwork will be closing part of the Long Island Expressway in Plainview tonight.
According to the state Department of Transportation, the left, center and HOV lanes of the westbound lanes of the LIE will be closed between Exit 46 and Exit 44 from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The DOT says workers will be doing bridge maintenance.
