Roadwork To Close Northern State Exit For LIE

WOODBURY, NY — Overnight roadwork will cause the exit for the LIE on the Northern State Parkway to close Tuesday night.

The state Department of Transportation said that crews will be working at the ramp for exit 37A on the eastbound Northern State Parkway from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday, weather permitting. The crew will be doing highway maintenance.

To get on the eastbound LIE, drivers should use exit 38 for Sunnyside Boulevard or exit 36N for South Oyster Bay Road.

The work is only planned to take the one night.
