Services Set, Community Supports Family Of LI Deli Couple Who Police Say Were Killed By Son: 'Unimaginable'
"Now, our hope — our next step — is to give these children some peace."

BETHPAGE, NY — Services have been set and a GoFundMe has been started for Angela Pulisciano, 62, and Antonio Dambrosio, 70, a couple who were killed on Thursday in their Long Island deli; their son has been arrested and accused of stabbing them, police said.
When police arrived at the scene at 9:11 a.m. on Thursday, officers observed 30-year-old Vito Dambrosio of Seaford standing in the parking lot in front of the store, Nassau County police said. He had blood on his hands and on his clothing, police said. Police said they had a short conversation with him before placing him in handcuffs.
Angela Pulisciano was found with stab wounds in her throat, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities. Antonio Dambrosio, 70, was found with stab wounds to the neck as well, police said. He was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, officials said.

The organizer shared how the couple came from Italy and devoted decades of their lives to serving their community.
"Let’s come together as a community and lift up the family that lifted us for over 30 years," the organizer wrote. "Let’s show their children how deeply loved and appreciated Tony and Angela were, and still are."
The organizer wrote that the GoFundMe will help support the couple's other children financially.
"Their daughter and sons are faced with planning a double funeral, carrying unimaginable grief, and navigating sudden financial burdens no family could ever be prepared for," the organizer wrote.
An update was posted by the organizer regarding the couple's daughter Angelina, and her brothers:
"We want to begin by saying thank you from the deepest part of our hearts. Angelina and her brothers are overwhelmed by the love, generosity, and compassion this community has shown. They cannot believe how many people have stepped forward for them— people from near and far, customers from years ago, friends, neighbors, and strangers. Because of all of you, we are helping them ease their financial burden."
The page continued: "Now, our hope our next step — is to give these children some peace. Some stability. Some relief from the financial stress that was dropped into their lives without warning. So many people are still donating, and the question is: 'Why?' The answer is simple: Because their parents mattered. Because that 'small store" was never small — it was part of your life. Because they thought they were just deli owners with regular customers ‚ but you’ve shown them that Tony & Ange were so much more than that."
