Students Named Semifinalists In Coca-Cola Scholars Program
Two seniors from POBJFK High School have progressed to the next round.

PLAINVIEW, NY — Two students from Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School have been named semifinalists in the 2026 Coca-Cola Scholars program.
Seniors Amanda Klein and Rebecca Rabinovich were among 1,238 students selected from more than 107,000 applicants nationwide to progress to the next round of the scholarship program.
The next round will lead to 250 applicants being named Regional Finalists in January, and after that, 150 will be announced as Coca-Cola Scholars in February. The 150 winners will receive a $20,000 college scholarship.
