Tell Us: How to Catch the Gas Station Bandit

Police believe one man is responsible for 9 gunpoint heists. What should be done?

As we reported here on Monday, Nassau County's gas station bandit has struck again and police say they are increasing patrols and following leads in order to bring the gun-wielding bandit to justice.

The man responsible for nine early-morning robberies between Tuesday and Sunday meets the same description and follows the same M.O.: His face covered by a hooded jacket, he flashes a gun and demands cash and cigarettes. Eight of the nine victims complied and the suspect fled.

At this time, police do not have a surveillance photo to release of the suspect.
