Turkey Drive Friday To Help Families In Need

FourLeaf has partnered with Island Harvest Food Bank for Friday's 1-day food drive, which lasts until 6 p.m.

BETHPAGE, NY — FourLeaf's 17th annual Turkey Drive is happening now until 6 p.m. to help Long Island families in need. With continued federal funding delays and SNAP program instability, FourLeaf has partnered with Island Harvest Food Bank for the one-day food drive.

This annual drive is Long Island's largest one-day food collection event, helping provide people with Thanksgiving meals.

Participants can drive through and drop off frozen turkeys, nonperishable food, or cash donations at the Bethpage location.

Every $35 donation provides a full holiday meal for a family in need.

“Many Long Islanders are being forced to choose between paying for rent, fuel, or medicine and putting food on the table,” President and CEO of Island Harvest Food Bank Randi Shubin Dresner said. “Community support through events like the FourLeaf Turkey Drive has never been more critical.”
