Homeowner finds man trying to get into his kitchen.

Two Port Chester homes were buglarized Tuesday night, with a homeowner finding a man climbing into a kitchen window in one of the incidents, according to Port Chester Police.

No one was injured.

Police said the first incident was reported about 7 p.m. Tuesday on Glen Avenue, when an 87-year-old Port Chester woman said that someone had entered her home while a relative was at home. The relative thought the 87-year-old woman had come home when she heard noises in the home.

The intruder fled, running off toward Westchester Avenue. Police said nothing was taken in the second incident.

No arrests have been made in connection with the break-ins. Police said the incidents were unusual for Port Chester because the homes were occupied at the time of the burglaries.

An investigation of the incidents is continuing.
