Body Of Missing Hudson Valley 22-Year-Old Found

PORT CHESTER, NY — The body of a West Harrison man was found Sunday afternoon in the Byram River in Port Chester.

Port Chester Police Department said Jan Carlo Yepes-Perafan, 22, had been missing since Wednesday.

He was last seen at McShane’s, a Port Chester bar, authorities said.

Police said the medical examiner will determine the official cause of death, but there appears to be no sign of foul play.

The investigation is ongoing, according to law enforcement.

Port Chester police were assisted in the three-day search by Westchester County Aviation, Real Time Crime Unit, the New York State Police, Greenwich Police Department and Port Chester’s fire department, EMS and Department of Public Works.
