Bond Vet Urgent Care For Pets Coming To The Rye Ridge Shopping Center

RYE BROOK, NY — A Westchester shopping center building a reputation as a destination for high end health, beauty and fashion boutiques, will have a new tenant focused on pampering pets.

The Rye Ridge Shopping Center, Plaza and South just announced that Bond Vet, a new kind of vet clinic and animal hospital, has signed a long-term lease at Rye South for a 2200-square-foot space. The space was previously occupied by European Wax. Bond Vet plans to open its newest location this fall.

Bond Vet is a pet health company that says it is "building a new breed of vet clinics to strengthen the human-animal bond through access to better pet care."

The company has made a name for itself by redefining the veterinary industry through design, technology, service, and culture with calm spaces for pets and their humans to feel comfortable. Amenities like a "treat yourself" wall and hydration station, a mobile app to make booking and treatment plans easy and immediate, affordable access to veterinary doctors and specialists have made the clinics sought after.

Bond Vet's reputation for transparent pricing has already built a loyal following in nearby New York City.

The company said its commitment to the well-being of its care team has helped to recruit top talent as suicide and burnout have become a growing problem among veterinary professionals in the industry.

"The increase in pet ownership, accelerated by the rise of adoptions and need for care during the pandemic has demonstrated an enormous opportunity to improve veterinary services, especially in urgent and emergent cases for pets," Co-founder/CEO Mo Punjani said in 2019 after a $170 million investment from Warburg Pincus. "Bond Vet meets the demand for a high-quality, convenient experience for pet care, supported by our best-in-class technology and standards for medical excellence.

Bond Vet offers all veterinary services, from routine check-ups to urgent care at its 44 locations in Boston, Chicago, Connecticut, Washington DC, Long Island, New Jersey and New York City. The Rye Ridge location will be their 45th and the first in Westchester County.

The Rye Ridge Shopping Center, Plaza & South are located at Ridge & Bowman Avenues in Rye Brook. There are over 70 shops, eateries, fitness boutiques and lifestyle services with ample free parking.
