Clay Art Center's 15th Annual Hand-In-Hand Benefit And Auction
Attending the fundraiser in support of the storied Hudson Valley institution comes with the chance to get your own hands on fine art.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Supporting an iconic Hudson Valley institution comes with a few big perks this weekend.

You are invited to join in the festivities and celebrate the Clay Art Center and their goal of providing art access to all, allowing budding artists to express themselves through meaningful ceramic art-making and appreciation.

The Clay Art Center announced that they will be holding their 15th annual Hand-in-Hand benefit and auction. The two-hour fundraiser will be held at the center, located at 40 Beech Street in Port Chester, on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 4 – 6 p.m. Proceeds from the auction and benefit will support vital operations, as well as programs including year-round scholarships, residencies for emerging artists, and community programs which allow Clay Art Center to promote the practice and appreciation for ceramic arts in the region.
Guests will enjoy good food and good company while celebrating the impact the Clay Art Center and the community achieved throughout the year in support of creating and experiencing the ceramic arts.

The celebration will shine a spotlight on how the Clay Art Center is an asset to the Hudson Valley, to the community and in the world of ceramics.
The virtual auction will include ceramic items generously donated by Clay Art Center artists and other nationally recognized ceramic artists. A preview of the full auction is now available online and in-person at the Clay Art Center. Online bidding is open now and will close on Oct. 16.
Interested bidders and Hand-in-Hand attendees will be able to view the items in-person before bidding online. If you cannot attend the Hand-in-Hand event in person, you can still register to bid in the online auction.
Supporter tickets start at $185 and general admission tickets start at $95. Supporter level tickets and above include a raffle ticket to win a Blue Spotted Salamander Urn created by renowned ceramic artist Julia Galloway.

Founded in 1957, the Clay Art Center is a nationally recognized non-profit center for the advancement and practice of ceramic arts offering exhibitions, clay classes for adults and children, studio spaces for clay artists and outreach programs in the community. It is located in the heart of Port Chester at 40 Beech Street. Gallery and SHOP hours are Mon.- Sat., 10 a.m.-5 p.m., or by appointment.
