PORT CHESTER, NY — If you're looking for one stop to find holiday gifts that prove you really know the friends, family and colleagues on your shopping list, there's just one place that you can't go wrong.

The Clay Art Center's highly anticipated Clay Holiday Market starts Thursday, Nov. 16 and runs until December 23. It's a chance to shop local and give handmade, one-of-a-kind ceramic art and objects made by national and regional artists. The unique handmade market items will be available both online and in the gallery.

The annual event at the Clay Art Center (CAC) celebrates the hard work and creativity of the center's artists and allows them to share what they have been doing, and let people see what talent lies in the studios of CAC and beyond. The event also features work from nationally and regionally recognized artists, current and past artists-in-residence, and emerging artists who have work featured in the shop.

The CAC says that this is a great event for shoppers and ceramics enthusiasts to find the best in functional pottery and ceramic sculpture. There’s something for everyone, including ceramic gifts, ornaments, cultural items, contemporary tableware and sculptures.

Take your time, soak up the atmosphere of the season, and enjoy choosing gifts for your family, friends… or yourself! Shop in-person at the gallery (Monday - Saturday) at CAC or online. Your purchase directly supports the artist and helps fund the center. Direct shipping or pick-up will be available after online purchase.
