Functional Fall: Shake It Up
Exhibition Dates: September 1 – Oct 18, 2025
Opening Reception: Saturday, September 6, 2025, 5–7:00 PM

Juried by Austin Coudriet & Nikki Lau, this exhibition explores the overlooked design and cultural history of salt and pepper shakers and cellars. The third annual "Functional Fall" Call for Entry invites artists to explore themes of function, design, trade, and colonial impact through ceramics.

Hispanic Heritage Month Featured Artist – Fernando Martinez
Exhibition Dates: September 15 – October 15, 2025

Celebrating Argentine artist and Port Chester resident Fernando Martinez, this online and in-shop exhibition features collage-inspired ceramics that blend woodfired aesthetics with gas-firing techniques. Fernando is a 2025 Ceramics Monthly Emerging Artist and Port Chester local.

Weekly Clay Classes for Adults and Youth: Fall Session A

Opportunities to learn the potter’s wheel, sculpture, and handbuilding in clay for adults and youth in weekly scheduled classes. Concurrent with weekly classes are opportunities to take specialized one-day and two-day workshops with visiting artists, local artists, and Clay Art Center Instructors.
