'Lighting The Way' Invitational Exhibit Gleams At Clay Art Center
The annual themed exhibition showcases the work being made in the studios by the artists who call the Clay Art Center their creative home.

PORT CHESTER, NY — It is perhaps fitting that the medium with ancient roots that are celebrated for both form and function would honor the ineffable connection between art and light.
The Clay Art Center (CAC) announced that it will be presenting "Lighting The Way" in their gallery and online from March 4 until April 5.
The CAC says that its thematic Annual Invitational exhibition showcases the work being made in the studios by the artists who call the Clay Art Center their creative home.

In this year's "Lighting The Way" exhibit, the CAC says that the artists have been invited to interpret the theme, both conceptually and symbolically, through works that act as votives, lamps, wall sconces and candle holders.
Organizers say that the group exhibition "will feature both functional and sculpturally based works that encompass a range of techniques and processes in ceramics and give voice to both emerging and established Clay Art Center artists."
