Paint The Town At The Inaugural Port Chester Arts Fest This Weekend
The Port Chester Arts festival will see local arts organizations, businesses and artists opening their doors for the day.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Check out the first-ever Port Chester Arts Festival this Saturday for "a day of creativity and inspiration for all ages."
Everyone is invited to join the Port Chester community this Saturday for the Inaugural Port Chester Arts Festival, a day-long celebration of the arts. Organizers say local arts organizations, businesses and artists will be opening their doors for a day filled with arts, exhibitions, art buying, family activities, open studios, performances and community arts projects.

All events are free and open to the public.

The arts organizations participating & activities:
- The Clay Art Center will be hosting an outdoor pottery sale, raku firing and wheel demos, open studios, a clay activity for children, and will have an exhibition on view in the gallery.
- The Ice Cream Social Art Space will also have an exhibition on view in the gallery and will host open artist studios, a family art workshop, and theater workshops led by LawnChair Theatre. Festival attendees are invited to attend the opening reception for the new exhibition from 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Local artists will be showcasing a range of art at The Carver Center, Eugene's Music & Learning Studio, and Garcia's at The Capitol.
- Children will be able to learn jazz and adults will be able to try salsa at the Jete Dance Studio.
- The Miranda Arts Project Space and The Crit Lab will be hosting an exhibition and open artist studios throughout the building.
- The Port Chester Library will be hosting art-making activities, have artwork on display and have a display of student work from the Fashion Arts Studio of Westchester.
- The Port Chester Beautification Commission will be introducting the village's new Community Art Initiative and the first Initiative project, PC Arts Week - Street Art, Selfie Murals & Spruced Up Fences.
- Festival attendees are invited to use an art scavenger map featuring hidden artworks by Port Chester High School students.


If you visit 3 or more locations, you can be entered to win raffle prizes from local businesses and arts organizations, including Bar Taco, The Capitol Theatre, Clay Art Center, Colony Grill, Eugene’s Music & Learning Studio, Fashion Arts Studio, Kneaded Bread, Pasquale Ristorante, Port Chester - Rye Brook Public Library, Run & Hide Brewery, Sergio’s Sawpit, Steph’s Sweet Creations, Tandoori, T&J Pizza, Varmax, and more.
