• From the RECORD Archives: ‘KTI Synagogue, Port Chester, NY' (architecturalrecord.com) — Port Chester’s Kneses Tifereth Israel synagogue, designed in the 1950s by famed architect Philip Johnson, is highlighted for its striking use of light, color, and scale along King Street. A reprint from a 1956 Architectural Record feature revisits how the sanctuary’s soaring space, stained glass slits, and adaptable layout were praised as both inspirational and thoughtfully functional for the congregation.

Diamond, a longtime Jewish Theological Seminary professor and noted Talmud scholar, influenced generations through his teaching, writings, and deeply personal reflections on faith and illness.
