Pink-Gun-Wielding Man Menacing Women Arrested After Foot Chase: PCPD

The 24-year-old from Norwalk was arraigned on weapons and menacing charges and released on bail hours later, according to police.

PORT CHESTER, NY — A Connecticut man is facing menacing and gun charges after an early morning, strange incident in downtown Port Chester.

Early Friday morning, Port Chester police received reports of a man with a handgun menacing a group of women that were leaving a downtown establishment.

A vehicle wanted in connection to the incident was spotted leaving the area. Officers tried to stop the vehicle, but once it was pulled over, the passenger bailed from the car and fled on foot, according to police. A foot chase near the Port Chester train station ended with the suspect apprehended on Willett Avenue.

The suspect, 24-year-old Diego Victorino of Norwalk, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, menacing and violation of the New York Safe Act as it relates to high capacity magazines.

Victorino was arraigned and released on bail.
