Port Chester Man Fatally Stabbed By Mount Vernon Man In CT: Police

An unidentified woman was also stabbed, but her injuries were not life-threatening, according to authorities.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Two men from the Hudson Valley were at the center of an unspeakable act of violence in Connecticut, according to police.

The Seymour Police Department in Connecticut said that on Sunday, shortly before midnight, they received a call reporting that two people had been stabbed at a home on Ajellos Farm Road.

Once on the scene, officers entered the home and the person responsible for the stabbing was identified by several witnesses. Police detained the suspect and began to aid the victim.

Rhahzhem Turner, 46, of Port Chester, was taken by Seymour Ambulance to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later died.

A female victim, who police are not identifying, was treated at Griffin Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police identified the suspect as 33-year-old Christopher Eugene Stanley Jr., of Mount Vernon. He was charged with one count of murder and one count of first degree assault.

Stanley was held at the Seymour Police Department on a $1.5 million bond, and was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
