PORT CHESTER, NY — Police are looking for other potential victims of a man they say was spotted approaching grade schoolers outside of their Westchester school.

Acting on a complaint from the administration of JFK Elementary School that an unknown man was approaching school children on Olivia Street, Port Chester police began an investigation and put the area under surveillance. Officers saw a 31-year-old Port Chester resident approach a child, make small talk and offer to walk with her.

This child did exactly what she was supposed to, by continuing on her way to school, ignoring the suspect and reporting the disturbing incident to her teachers.
