Troopers Charge Port Chester Man with Drunken Driving
State police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Port Chester man was drunk when he drove through Kent on eastbound Interstate 84 this weekend, police said.
Troopers charged Elver J. Guevara-Martinez, who was operating a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am, with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated at about 9:20 p.m. Sunday. They initially stopped him for "straddling" lanes, according to police.
Guevara-Martinez's blood-alcohol level was 0.11, authorities say. The legal limit is 0.08.

Officials sent the 24-year-old to the Putnam County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bail bond. He will be due in court at a later date.
