Woman Charged in $252 Theft at Port Chester Store

Police: Clothing, jewelry, sunglasses taken.

A Mount Vernon woman is accused of petty larceny in connection with the theft of more than $250 worth of merchandise from a Port Chester store, according to Port Chester Police.

Sandy Ramsey, 27, of 135 N. 7th Ave., Mount Vernon, was arrested 4:45 p.m. Saturday after a shoplifting complaint was filed by workers at the Kohl's department store on Boston Post Road in Port Chester.

Police said Ramsey is accused of taking $252 worth of clothing, jewelry and sunglasses from the store without paying for the merchandise. She faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
