3 Injured As Boat Strikes Jetty In Port Jefferson Harbor: Police

They were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, Suffolk police said.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Three people were injured when a boat struck the east jetty at the entrance to Port Jefferson Harbor on Saturday, Suffolk police said.

The people were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to police.

Suffolk police Marine Bureau officers aboard Marine Delta responded just after 11 p.m., police said.
