Long Island Woman Crowned Ms. NY Senior America 2023
Mae Caime will compete in October at the 40th Annual Ms. Senior America National Pageant at the Tropicana Atlantic City.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Brookhaven Town resident Mae Caime was recently crowned Ms. New York Senior America 2023 at the 38th Annual Ms. New York Senior America Pageant at the Bayway Arts Theater in East Islip, according to a news release.
Caime, of Coram, competed with women from across the state in four categories: Interview; Philosophy of Life; Evening Gown Walk of Elegance; and Talent.
She was honored by the Brookhaven Town Board on July 20.

During her year-long reign, Caime will take part in state-wide showcases and educate senior women about the New York Senior America organization.
She will compete at the 40th Annual Ms. Senior America National Pageant at the Tropicana Atlantic City in October, against all the other state’s winners.

Senior America’s mission statement is based upon the belief that seniors are the foundation of America and our most valuable treasure, according to the release.
It is upon their knowledge, experience, and resources that our younger generation could build a better society, officials said.
Caime, a registered nurse, specializing in all areas of healthcare support and education. She has also developed programs to increase morale, collaboration, and communication for Long Island Spine Specialists.
