PORT JEFFERSON, NY — A fire broke out at a Port Jefferson home, drawing area firefighters on Monday night, Suffolk police said. The fire started at the Roosevelt Avenue home at around 11:45 p.m., according to police. Arson Section detectives are investigating, police said. It's not clear if anyone was in the house at the time. Further details were not available.
