Jogger Dies In Suffolk Crash: Police

CORAM, NY — A jogger was killed in a Coram crash Tuesday afternoon, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on Middle Country Road at about 2 p.m.

Kiesha McNeil, 38, of Medford, was jogging northbound on Fife Drive, when she jogged into the eastbound lane of Middle Country Road and struck a 2023 Kenworth tractor-trailer being driven by a 48-year-old Mastic man, police said.

McNeil was pronounced dead at the scene; the Mastic driver was not injured, police said.

The tractor-trailer was inspected at the scene by officers from the Motor Carrier Section, police said.
