President & CEO of Jefferson's Ferry Lifecare Retirement Community recognized at gala.

President & CEO at Jefferson's Ferry Lifecare Retirement Community and Miller Place resident Karen Brannen, was recognized as one of the Long Island Business News' Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business at a gala last month.
The award ceremony began in 2000 as a way to honor professional women who work in business, education, government, and not-for-profit industries on Long Island. A panel of business and communities leaders review entries and choose winners based on three key factors: business acumen, mentoring, and community involvement.
Brannen has been working with Jefferson's Ferry since 2001 and has helped it become one of the most successful single-site CCRCs in the country and home to nearly 400 residents, 62 or older, according to a statement.
