Local Re-Enlists In The National Guard After Promotion
Ronnie Pallini from Port Jefferson announced he will continue serving in the National Guard.

Tuesday, Ronnie Pallini from Port Jefferson, was promoted from National Guard Solider to Sergeant. In a phone interview, a representative from the National Guard, confirmed that Pallini has chosen to reenlist to continue working within the Company B, 1-69th Infantry.
Major General Patrick A. Murphy, who was unavailable by phone, said in a statement that the New York Army National Guard has worked hard to sustain their fleet for the better part of five years.
"Keeping those ready forces in our ranks mean that New York is ready to provide forces for state missions here at home, as we saw during Hurricane Sandy or for the federal missions supporting our nation around the country and around the world," said Murphy.
