Man Charged in Gunpoint Robberies
The 25-year-old was arrested in front of his home Tuesday night, police say.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested for robbing a gas station and trying to rob another at gunpoint, Suffolk Police said Wednesday morning.
Devon Tyme Jr., of Selden, is charged with first degree robbery and first degree attempted robbery.
According to police, Tyme entered the Sunoco gas station located at 1575 Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station on Sunday, Oct. 7 at about 9:45 a.m., displayed what appeared to be a gun and demanded cash. The clerk complied and the Tyme fled, police said.

On Oct. 13 at about 2:30 a.m., Tyme entered the Speedway located at 501 Patchogue Road in Coram, displayed what appeared to be a gun and demanded cash, police said. The employee did not comply, and the Tyme fled, police said.
Tyme was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Wednesday.

Suffolk Police have also charged two other men with recent armed robberies in the area.
