Man Fired At In Drive-By Shooting Involving BB Gun In Suffolk County: Police

It happened at around 9:25 p.m. on Friday, Suffolk police say.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY —A 37-year-old man was fired at in a drive-by shooting involving a BB gun in Port Jefferson on Friday night, Suffolk police said.

The man was walking on West Broadway at around 9:25 p.m., when a person in a white sedan traveling eastbound in the 100 block of West Broadway fired at him, according to police.

It was not immediately clear if the man was struck or hurt in any way.

It was one of two shootings that police are probing from the weekend.

A home in Patchogue was fired upon early Monday morning, but no one was hurt, police said.
