- Port Jeff Restaurant Week: The dates for the widely popular fall edition of LI Restaurant Week are set. Eight days of foodie fun for 2021 will run from Sunday, Nov. 7, through Sunday, Nov. 14, all across Long Island. This is a classic win-win for patrons and restaurant owners alike, says Steve Haweeli, president of Long Island Restaurant and Hospitality Group, which operates the tri-annual event.(Greater Long Island)
- Nearby News: Woman fatally stabbed on lawn Coram home. Police say a woman was killed following a stabbing in Coram Saturday afternoon. Officers say they received a call reporting an injured woman. They say the incident occurred on the front lawn of a home on Hartford Drive. Authorities say when they arrived at the scene, they found 27-year-old Meghan Kiefer injured. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. (News 12 Bronx)
