  1. A man shot a 16-year-old boy in a parking lot in Coram and then, accidentally, shot himself. The incident happened on Middle Country Road. The 35-year-old man was involved in an argument with the teen and shot him before, unintentionally, shooting himself. Both were taken to a local hospital to be treated. Criminal charges were applied.   2. Port Jefferson’s girls varsity golf team had its first win in its opening season. The Royals had a score of 7.5-1.5 on the very first game. (Greater Long Island)
