  1. The Suffolk County Women's Alliance to help end food insecurity has been distributing free food this weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. The Nonprofit handed meal kits to families at the Consewogue High School and accepted donations to help them keep their mission. (News 12 Long Island)
  2. Lyn Boland, the co-director of the Port Jefferson Documentary Series, will host a screening of the movie "We Feed People" on May 9. The film portrays how food can be a powerful way to heal people affected by disasters such as the Ukrainian invasion. The event will be hosted at John F.
