  1. One of our village traditions is back! The 1910 Hillclimb returns at full speed on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.! All owners of 1979 cars or older are welcome to join the parade at the Harborfront Park for $30 per vehicle, including breakfast and two event t-shirts. (Port Jefferson CofC)
  2. On Monday night, two men went overboard on Shoreham Beach. The fishermen were on an inflatable raft hit by a wave that threw them into the water. A police helicopter rescued them to safety. (News 12 Brooklyn)
