  1. Port Jefferson Summer Farmers Market opens for the season on May 8! Get local and join the community farmers and vendors from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. every Sunday through Nov. 13. The market is located at Harborfront Park. (PJVC)
  2. An American flag that was once outside the post office in the Echo area of Upper Port is back in Port Jefferson the Village Center. The unique 46-star flag has a vast history and has flown in various states in the U.S. (tbrnewsmedia)
  3. "Zero Gravity" is coming to Port Jefferson in a Zoom event with guest speaker Thomas Verrette. The screening will be held at the John F. Kennedy Middle School located at 200 Jayne Blvd., Port Jefferson Station, on Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m. (GPJAC)

  • Port Jefferson Free Library will host a "Mother's Day Felt Flowers" on May 2 at 6:30 p.m. Come out to make a "plant" centerpiece to be given as a gift. The event location is 150 East Main St., Port Jefferson. (PJFL)
