- The Comsewogue Public Library features a multi-artist show, "Imagination." Curator V. Gay Gatta organizes the exhibit that displays spring sceneries and more. The library's gallery is located on the main floor outside the Community Room. The artist reception will be held on May 12 at 6 p.m. (Comsewogue)
- Police conducted a home search at the residence of 26-year-old Robert Ludwig from East Setauket and found many ghost guns and drugs. Suffolk police served an order after Ludwig was considered dangerous and incapable of possessing weapons. (Patch)
- Lyn Boland, the co-director of the Port Jefferson Documentary Series, will host a screening of the movie "We Feed People" on May 9. The film portrays how food can be a powerful way to heal people affected by disasters such as the Ukrainian invasion. The event will be hosted at John F.
