  1. Renovation proposed for Port Jeff Village Deli Building: Recently the Port Jeff's Planning Board reviewed a plan to renovate the Deli on West Broadway. The building is supposedly 100 years old and has been known by many names and the location is very well know by boaters. Pictures of the renovation plan are released to the public now and it's promising to be a new great spot in town. (LongIsland.com)
  2. Theatre Three in Port Jefferson is announcing a Halloween musical about ghosts who are afraid of the dark! The spectacular has a positive message about the power of helping others. Hilarious and delightful "Kooky Spooky Halloween" is an amazing musical for the entire family. (Theatre Three)
  3. Port Jefferson fire Department released a condolence post on Facebook about the passing of Ex-Chief, Ex-Captain of Hook and Ladder Co. 1, and 73 year member, Hugh C. Cambell, who joined the department after serving in World War II and was monumental in transforming the Port Jefferson Fire Department into an aggressive interior-attack department. His leadership and trainings have stood the test of time as he was looked up to by all members. (Facebook)
  4. Nearby News: Morning fire breaks out at East Setauket farm complex. Firefighters from 16 fire departments, including a fleet of ladder trucks and bulldozers, responded just after 10 a.m. to the property formerly known as Spycoast Farm on Brewster Lane in East Setauket.
