Port Jefferson Theater announces auditions for all roles in Roger Bean’s musical revue "The Marvelous Wonderettes". Port Jefferson Board Of Education: Port Jefferson School District Board of Education members were honored for their efforts throughout the year on behalf of the students in the district at the Oct. 12 board of education meeting. The special accolades highlighted the New York State School Board Association's School Board Recognition Week (Oct. 18-22).   3. Nearby News: Man accused of leading police on fatal Holtsville chase pleads not guilty to vehicular manslaughter. Robert Hengeveld was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle when police say they tried to pull him over in Holtsville. After a 10-minute chase, prosecutors say Hengeveld struck a Honda at the intersection of North Ocean Avenue and Express Drive South. The driver of the Honda was killed in the collision and Hengeveld’s passenger is in the hospital with a brain bleed and broken jaw. Hengeveld, who prosecutors say is homeless, also remains hospitalized and is being held without bail. (News 12 Bronx)
