Bicycle Rodeo And Helmet Safety Event Held In Port Washington

Children learned bicycle safety and agility skills.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Bicycle Rodeo and Helmet Safety event was held at Manorhaven Beach Park on June 13, the Town of North Hempstead announced.

Children who attended learned bicycle safety and agility skills. They also had the opportunity to get their tires, seats, handlebar height, chains, and helmets checked.

The event was hosted by North Hempstead Council Member Mariann Dalimonte, the Port Washington Police Department, and Bicycle Playground.
