Bosworth Re-Elected To 3rd Term As Town Supervisor
Judi Bosworth released a statement regarding her win.

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth was re-elected on Nov. 7 to serve her third, two-year term.
Bosworth, a Democrat, defeated her opponent Stephen Nasta, a Republican, with 65 percent of the vote. Bosworth received 27,244 votes while Nasta received 14,517 votes.
“I am truly honored to have been re-elected so that I may continue to serve the people of North Hempstead,” Bosworth said in a press release. “I am looking forward to once again working together with our dedicated Town Council as we continue to make the Town of North Hempstead one of the best places to live, raise a family and age in place.”

Bosworth first took office in 2014 as the 37th Supervisor of the Town North Hempstead. She previously served with the Nassau County Legislature for six years as the representative for the 10th District and served as trustee on the Great Neck School District Board of Education for 16 years.
In 2017, Bosworth cut the ribbon on a new park – Alvan Petrus Park in Port Washington, passed legislation banning ATV’s from Town property, raised the age to purchase cigarettes and tobacco products to 21 years of age in North Hempstead and initiated a “quiet equipment” pilot program at the town’s Clark Botanic garden in order to reduce noise and gas fumes pollution.

Bosworth will begin her third full-term on Jan. 1, 2018. The swearing in ceremony will take place on Jan. 7, 2018 at Clinton G. Martin Park.
