Motorcyclist Dies In Crash With Box Truck On Northern Boulevard: Cops

ROSLYN, NY — A motorcyclist died Tuesday morning when he collided with a box truck on Northern Boulevard near Roslyn, police said.

The crash, which closed all lanes for hours, happened around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nassau police said. All eastbound and westbound lanes were closed from Wittes Lane to Beech Drive until around 1 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

A 25-year-old man was riding his motorcycle when he crashed near Beech Drive, police said. The motorcyclist was declared dead at a hospital, police said. His name wasn't immediately released.
